Ho'oponopono
A prayer by Morrnah Nalamaku Simeona (1913-92) Hawaiian Kahuna
Divine Creator, Father, Mother, Son as one … If I, my family, relatives and ancestors have offended you, your family, relatives and ancestors in thoughts, words, deeds and actions from the beginning of our creation to the present, we ask your forgiveness … Let this cleanse, purify, release, cut all the negative memories, blocks, energies and vibrations, and transmute these unwanted energies into pure Light. … And it is done. |
I love you. I am sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you.
These 4 sentences can be used as a meditation mantra, holding in your heart an issue to be cleared. A relationship to be healed. A world event you would like to see changed.
Using Ho'oponopono we are accepting 100% responsibility for our life. We accept that we are the creator of our reality and that what comes in to our life, we have had a part in its creation. There is something within us yet to be healed, therefore we see it reflected to us in our reality. This is a big concept and I recommend further reading on the subject. This is a practice I am often given by my teachers to give to clients. I have found it to be very powerful in my own personal practice.
You say the mantra to existence, to source energy, to goddess, to god, to the universe...whatever feels right for you and your cosmology. Do this whilst holding the situation/person in your heart. Thoughts, memories, ideas may come up to be witnessed, allow this and let them go, in a state of non-attachment. Carry on with the mantra until you feel complete.
